Heaven, October 22 – The Creator and Sovereign of All Reality voiced misgivings today about those who bellow “Allahu Akbar!” as they engage is acts of the most wanton brutality, supernal sources reported today, noting that the Almighty God prefers not to have His Name associated with the shooting, torture, dismemberment, decapitation, or immolation of defenseless children.
Allah, whose name Hamas has invoked repeatedly as they slaughter, rape, and abduct Jews, told ministering angels Sunday that praise from those who engage in such atrocities ranks quite low in His preferred roster of worshipers.
“‘God is great,’ huh?” He retorted upon receiving word of such declarations by the rampaging terrorists. “No thank you, you brutes. My greatness is manifest nowhere in your pretexts to give license to the most depraved behavior humans can display. You cannot honestly believe that is what I want.”
“Even the explicit texts calling for wiping out certain groups put severe limitations on the phenomenon,” Allah added, referring to Biblical passages related to vengeance and the conquest of a very specific area. “Then the men involved had to purify themselves from the spiritual contamination that accompanies any contact with death. It was not a joyride of orgiastic murder. It was a grim necessity.”
“Even the nod to human nature in the regulations surrounding the captive war bride put important restrictions on the practice,” the LORD continued. “The whole purpose of revealing Myself to mankind and giving a new set of laws was to contrast My system with the self-serving brutality that previous religious systems served to license. The worship of naked power, which is what people who perpetrate such unbridled brutality exhibit, is idolatry. Of course I wanted the cultures in My land who practiced it to be removed!”
A ministering angel elaborated on the divine attitude. “The power that humans possess, with their free will, comes with immense responsibility,” explained Archangel Gabriel. “Free will, to the extent that humans have it, only has meaning when the consequences of human decisions are not neutralized by divine interference. That means Man has the power to perform acts of astounding devotion, beauty, and truth – but also of abominable degradation and cruelty. Suffice it to say that God, Allah, Shaddai, however one refers to Him, seeks the praise and prayer of those who at least strive for kindness and love, and, to put it mildly, prefers not to hear adulation from those who rape babies and consider their behavior righteous.”
