He also dismisses pro-Israel Arabs, especially patriotic Arab citizens of Israel, as “token” minorities.
New York, November 21 – A Palestine activist who ignores the more than nine tenths of global Jewry who support, or at least do not oppose, the existence and security of the State of Israel, in favor of several thousand Jews who call for its dissolution and denounce Zionism as fundamentally opposed to Judaism, has determined, through exhaustive research, that those few thousand Jews follow the correct path, because they agree with him.
Amjad Hussein, of the Students for Justice in Palestine Brooklyn College chapter, stated today for approximately the eightieth time, either online or in person, that the most authentic stream of Jewish practice must include fierce opposition to Zionism, since the most authentic-looking Jews, to him, espouse such a view – a view that conveniently matches his own. Hussein grew up in a Muslim household, and his knowledge of Jewish thought and practice extends almost as far as suspecting that Jews do not accept the Christian messiah Jesus as a prophet, known as Issa in Islamic tradition.
“Real Jews oppose the existence of Israel,” he posted on X today, at least six times. To each post he appended a photo of Neturei Karta demonstrators, whose extreme views have earned them ostracism from even other non-Zionist orthodox Jewish groups. The Neturei Karta number no more than several thousand, among a worldwide Jewish population of approximately 14 million. Their attention-grabbing antics include attending Holocaust-denying events in Iran.
“Don’t listen to Zionist Jews,” he urged fellow activists. “They’re not real Jews. Real Jews oppose Israel.”
Hussein uses a similar technique to address the phenomenon of non-Jewish Zionists. “Those are fundamentalist Christians who want to bring Armageddon by gathering the Jews together,” he has declared, in one form or another, for several years. Surveys indicate that a small minority of non-Jewish Zionists hold such beliefs; the majority harbor straightforward sympathy for Jews enjoying sovereignty and security in the ancestral Jewish homeland, but Hussein must deny that perspective as representative or valid if he is to successfully avoid reckoning with such challenging notions as facts, truth, and honesty.
He also dismissed the phenomenon of pro-Israel Arabs, especially patriotic Arab citizens of Israel, as “token” minorities who do not represent any authentic Arab or Muslim position, which by definition must be predicated on staunch anti-Zionism, because reasons.
“Torah-true Jews oppose Zionism,” he posted again, parroting a line from an account purporting to be Jewish but in fact is run by a Muslim in Pakistan.
