Tehran Regime On Ropes, Obama-Biden Team Seeks Other Despots To Kowtow To

They declined to specify which alternative despots the administration is considering.

Washington, October 6 – The tactical and strategic missteps by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei have imperiled his hold on power, leading US officials who facilitated his regional imperialism to consider alternative repressive dictators to empower, State Department representatives disclosed today.

Continuing civic unrest in Iran swelled again last week following the launch on Tuesday night of a barrage of ballistic missiles at Israel, ostensibly in retaliation for Israel’s assassinations of two chiefs of Iran’s proxies in the region – a barrage that caused some damage but killed no Israelis, though it did kill a Palestinian, plus five Iranians who died when one of the missiles exploded at launch. Jordan also suffered damage and casualties.

Israel’s swift response to that attack, with no Iranian capacity to deflect it, highlighted the Ayatollahs’ house of cards that masquerades as a powerful regime, encouraged more Iranian citizens to call for the ouster of Khamenei and his thugs, with numerous thinkers in Washington and elsewhere beginning to accept that the Supreme Leader’s days are numbered. As a consequence of that likely scenario, the State representatives explained, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and all of the rehired diplomatic staffers from the Obama administration reluctantly agreed to explore alternatives to Khamenei in their quest to hand the Middle East over to the hegemony of anti-Western, antisemitic, brutal, repressive, despotic potentates.

“It’s not what we want, it’s not what we dedicated our careers to building, but reality doesn’t always cooperate with what we want,” acknowledged Assistant Undersecretary of State for Middle East Affairs Vidkun Quisling. “The weakening of sanctions enforcement against Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear weapons programs, the JCPOA, and just general tolerance for all of Khamenei’s belligerence for the last few decades were supposed to shore up his power so we could kowtow to him. Obama refused to lift a finger during the 2009 popular uprising in Iran because he envisioned handing the Middle East to Khamenei on a silver platter. That hasn’t worked out as planned, for a variety of reasons, and now we must come up with alternative dictators, it looks like.”

Quisling declined to specify which alternative despots the administration is considering. Analysts observed that few, if any, candidates exist in the region who can provide the hegemonic ambition, patience, and ruthlessness that Khamenei and his cronies demonstrated until now. “[President of Turkey] Erdogan qualifies in many ways but he doesn’t specifically aim to terrorize Israel. That’ just a politically convenient thing for him. We need someone dedicated to killing Jews, not a hobbyist.”
