Israel Issues Photos Of Bombed Teslas In Gaza, Gains 99% Democrat Support

Comments such as “This is what our military aid to Israel should be used for.”

Tel Aviv, April 9 – The IDF distributed images today of destroyed electric vehicles on the streets of Khan Yunis, Rafah, and other places under Hamas rule, vehicles identifiable as manufactured by Elon Musk’s company, resulting in a sudden surge of favorability for the Jewish State’s actions in the coastal territory, media reports indicated today.

Scattered photos in social and traditional media made the rounds across the internet and news programs over the last week or two, featuring Teslas burning or riddled with shrapnel or bullets, against the backdrop of the Gaza Strip. The images have resonated with left-wing voters and activists in the US, whose recent opposition to the owner of the car manufacturing company has taken the form of widespread vandalism against individual Tesla cars and against dealerships. The apparent solidarity in the Israeli military for destroying Teslas has shifted previous attitudes among progressives toward Israel, which heretofore has faced venomous hostility over alleged mistreatment of the Palestinians, especially in the context of the current war with Hamas in Gaza.

Observers remarked on the rapid shift in sentiment. “We started noticing it toward the end of March,” recalled media observer Ayman R. Sunnist. “Since its triumphs in 1967, Israel has struggled to find appeal among leftists, who no longer viewed the Jewish state as a fledgling hero of self-determination in a sea of overwhelming Islamic enmity. Nudged along by Soviet propaganda, the view of Israel that held sway among western progressives transformed from plucky, oppressed, decolonizing minority into settler-colonialist Goliath. But with the images of bombed-out Teslas, Israel has performed a whiplash-inducing turnaround.”

Progressives on TikTok responded to clips and photos of the destroyed Teslas in Gaza with glee. Comments such as “This is what our military aid to Israel should be used for” and “Go IAF” flooded the accounts that posted the content. Instagram users who shared the materials reported similar feedback from the pronouns and Pride flag brigades. A spokesperson for Meta, the parents company of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, disclosed that since the sharing of the first such photos began in the second half of March, accounts with images of burned-out or bullet-riddled Teslas in Gaza – or anywhere but labeled “Gaza,” given the known phenomenon of captioning everything from Syria to Sudan to Yemen as “Gaza” – enjoyed a surge in Likes and engagement up to 6300%.

Meanwhile, groypers attempted to drive a wedge between Israel-supporters and Musk by arguing that Israel intends to target his interests.
